The French city of Rouen has local climate agreement since November 2018.

This mobilization of local players in favor of the climate was initiated by the Rouen Normandy Metropolis in partnership with WWF France and the French environment and energy agency ADEME. The aim of this unique approach was to inform, understand, discuss and act together to limit the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in the area. Citizens, Communities, Companies and Associations were involved and could contribute to the agreement.

TOMORROW's partner Brest Metropolitan Government organised a webinar with its Rouen's counterpart, to learn about the process leading to the approval of this local climate agreement.
