Buenos Aires Climate Action Plan 2050

Buenos Aires proposes an action plan to support efficiency and low emissions in buildings, public transport, and energy systems, natural resources, promotion of non-motorised vehicles, circular economy, waste treatment. The municipality fosters environmental education, sustainable food and integrated neighbourhoods and aims to improve health and air quality. In addition, the plan intends to narrow socio-economic inequalities, especially with regard to the consequences of climate change.
